Word has been received from MBDR that they will be in need of FEEDING and MUD-OUT volunteers for the flooding in Mississippi and Louisiana.

You need not be trained in Mud-Out.

As I'm sure you have heard, there is terrible flooding in lower portions of Mississippi and Louisiana. While MS has significant damage, it appears that LA has received the worst of it. Please pray about responding. If you are able to respond, please email or text me with the dates you are available. I will coordinate the information and pass it on to Don (it reduces the amount of calls he has to answer).  Please note that there are multiple types of responses available: feeding, mud-out (in this particular situation, it is not necessary to have had mud-out training), and chaplaincy.

1. Feeding Unit to Hammond, LA 

Teams are needed to arrive on Sunday, August 21, so that they can start cooking on Monday August 22.

2. Mud out teams in Crosby, MS.  

Teams are needed this weekend and likely into next week.

3. Mud out teams in Kentwood, LA

Desperate need for mud out teams.  LA is willing to use un-trained church teams
